The Dram Queen
The arrival of the railways was important to the success of Speyside's single malts. Join Ann Miller, the Dram Queen, to discover more about this theme during a tutored tasting with a selection of samples to illustrate the fascinating heritage of whiskies from Speyside.
With the arrival of the railways in the middle of the nineteenth century offering reliable transport to the cities of Scotland and beyond, the opportunities for Speyside’s single malts expanded. Many distilleries were established close to the railways which brought coal to fire their stills and exported their casks. Discover their stories as you enjoy tasting samples from a selection of the rich variety of these Speyside whiskies.
This event will take place in the Dram Queen's exclusive tasting room with a maximum of 12 guests.Details of how to find the location will be shared with all ticket holders in advance. Current Scottish guidance on Covid precautions will be observed.
